Engine swap packaging: offset versus driveline angle

2024 Ford F-150 Lariat 3.5 EcoBoost, about 118,000 miles. Mocking up an engine/transmission in a chassis with very tight steering and footwell clearance. I can offset it slightly, but I don't want to create driveline vibration. What measurements should be locked down before making mounts? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Ford F-150 in DMV / Maryland, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “offset versus driveline angle,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2024 Ford F-150 in DMV / Maryland with 118,000 miles. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Ford F-150 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. I'd rather be boring and correct. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
