F-150 feels loose towing a tall enclosed trailer

PistonTuner77Community StarterMay 30, 20262024 Ford F-150 Lariat 3.5 EcoBoostMichigan
2024 Ford F-150 Lariat 3.5 EcoBoost, about 14,500 miles. Weights are within ratings but crosswinds make the rig feel much less planted than expected. Before buying suspension parts, I'd like to verify loading, tongue percentage, hitch setup and tire pressures. What order would you troubleshoot? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Ford F-150 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Ford F-150, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
