High transmission temperature after several hard laps

After several laps the transmission temp rises enough that shifting behavior changes. Car cools down and works normally again. Looking for data points on cooling upgrades versus simply shortening sessions. Any data points from owners would help.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2023 Subaru Outback before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'll update if anything new shows up.
