How are you estimating real battery degradation?

Dash range changes with temperature and driving, so I'm looking for a better way to judge battery health. What data do you trust—usable kWh, charging energy, service-mode values, repeated range tests? Trying to diagnose before I book a shop.

OP update: scanned the 2024 Kia EV9 again and still only have the one pending code, no new lights. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

It did how are you estimating real battery degradation twice this week, both times after sitting. No change in mileage feel. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

Don't clear the alert just to make the screen pretty. Leave the alerts on the 2024 Kia EV9 so service can see what you saw. Then you'll know the next fork. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. Happens in gear, not in park, for what that's worth.

Checked the easy stuff on the 2024 Kia EV9 and found one clue worth chasing before I book a shop. No warning lights, which is why I'm documenting it.
