Need advice: Trailer feels nervous in crosswinds

ColdStartDad25Community StarterDec 10, 20252023 Ford Bronco BadlandsOrange County
2023 Ford Bronco Badlands, about 1,200 miles. Truck is within published ratings, but with a tall enclosed trailer it gets pushed around in wind more than I expected. Before changing trucks, what would you verify: tongue weight, tire pressure, hitch setup, trailer loading, suspension? Any data points from owners would help. What am I missing?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2023 Ford Bronco in Orange County, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “trailer feels nervous in crosswinds,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2023 Ford Bronco in Orange County with 1,200 miles. Do that first. That's my plan before I call anyone.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2023 Ford Bronco before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2023 Ford Bronco owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2023 Ford Bronco in Orange County with 1,200 miles. Just my two cents from doing this recently. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2023 Ford Bronco, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. If the story changes I'll post the new data.
