Square wheel setup on a car that came staggered

1951 Ford F-1 Custom, about 118,000 miles. Thinking about moving to a square setup for tire rotation and track use. Besides fitment, what handling changes should I expect on a car calibrated around staggered tires? Any data points from owners would help.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 1951 Ford F-1 price probably got worse. That's the part that actually changes the decision. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

Insurance and tax belong in the comparison, not as a surprise. Ask for out-the-door on the 1951 Ford F-1 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “square wheel setup on a car that,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
