USB ports and wireless charging both quit

CruiseMom94Community StarterMay 28, 20262024 Ford Mustang GTSalt Lake City
Phone charging stopped on both the wireless pad and USB ports, but everything else in the cabin seems normal. Before I pull trim apart, are these usually on one fuse/module or separate circuits? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts. Ambient temp was about 92°F when I noticed it.

Get the messy numbers in writing first. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2024 Ford Mustang so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “usb ports and wireless charging both quit,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. If your situation is the opposite, ignore me. I screenshotted the quote for later.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Ask for out-the-door on the 2024 Ford Mustang with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. Do that before you talk monthly again. On “usb ports and wireless charging both quit,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Not convinced that's the whole story. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Ford Mustang, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

The trap is a pretty payment hiding a worse car price. If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Ford Mustang, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Update from me: I finally have sale price, fees, and trade on separate lines for the 2024 Ford Mustang. Sleeping on the number either way.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. I would not wire money until I've seen the 2024 Ford Mustang and the title situation in person or via a trusted PPI. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2024 Ford Mustang in Salt Lake City. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Same neighborhood, different next step: Call your insurer in Salt Lake City before you fall in love with the 2024 Ford Mustang. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.

I asked about usb ports and wireless charging both quit again and they still won't put GAP/add-ons on their own lines. If the VIN lookup is clean I'm still doing PPI.

Don't send a deposit on a phone quote. If they're pushing term length to shrink the payment, the 2024 Ford Mustang price probably got worse. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Make the next action something you can finish this week. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Asking because it changes the advice: If one piece looks too good on the 2024 Ford Mustang, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. Keep sale price, fees, and rate as three different conversations. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

If I were shopping this, two 2024 Ford Mustang quotes only help if both include tax, title, and the same options. Screenshot the worksheet if you can. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Walked a dealership this week on the 2024 Ford Mustang and the doc fee was the tell. Going to re-read the worksheet tonight.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. A written buyer’s order on the 2024 Ford Mustang is worth more than any verbal “we’ll make it work.” I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
