2018 Ford F-150 — 50,000-mile ownership report: what actually broke?

BrakeDad759Community StarterAug 5, 20262018 Ford F-150 XLT 2.7 EcoBoostFlorida
I just crossed 50k miles and want to log maintenance, unscheduled repairs, tire life, fuel economy, dealer visits, annoyances and whether I would buy the same car again. If I figure it out I will update the thread. What would you check next?

I'd want competing paper, not competing stories. Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2018 Ford F-150 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. This is from a 2018 Ford F-150 in Florida. That's the sequence I'd use. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. I'll post OTD once I have two apples-to-apples sheets.

Coming back with numbers — insurance in Florida changed the 2018 Ford F-150 comparison more than the sale price did. If the title is messy I'm out, full stop.

Hard-won lesson from my last deal: Keep sale price, trade, and financing split on the 2018 Ford F-150 so a “good payment” cannot bury a worse deal. If they balk, that's your answer. On “150 — 50,000-mile ownership report: what actually,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.

Walk if they won't put it on a buyer’s order. If one piece looks too good on the 2018 Ford F-150, hunt doc fees, accessories, and the APR next. Then the comparison gets honest. This is from a 2018 Ford F-150 in Florida. Not gospel, but it saved me a headache. If they only talk monthly I'm walking.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. Ask for out-the-door on the 2018 Ford F-150 with fees, add-ons, and rate on separate lines. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.
