2018 Subaru Forester — humming rises with road speed, not engine RPM

2018 Subaru Forester 2.5i, about 95,500 miles. There is a low hum that rises with road speed regardless of engine RPM. Turning slightly left or right changes the sound. Is that enough to suspect a wheel bearing, or what else should I rule out? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2018 Subaru Forester, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2018 Subaru Forester in Connecticut with 95,500 miles. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. That's coming from doing this as an owner, not a shop. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
