2021 Nissan Rogue SV — anyone else: Project car budget is already getting away from me

Bought a cheap project because the shell was solid, and now the 'small stuff' list is longer than the drivetrain list. How do you guys prioritize safety/reliability, fabrication, cosmetics and power without rebuilding the car three times? I'm in Charlotte. I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2021 Nissan Rogue owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. Have you gotten a second quote in writing? If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2021 Nissan Rogue, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. When does it actually happen? I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
