2021 Range Rover Sport — clunk when changing from reverse to drive

2021 Range Rover Sport HSE, about 47,500 miles. There is a single clunk when changing direction at low speed, especially reverse to drive. No vibration while cruising. What would you inspect first: mounts, driveshaft play, differential mounts or CV joints? I am in Boston. I would rather test this logically than replace parts.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2021 Range Rover Sport owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2021 Range Rover Sport, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2021 Range Rover Sport in Boston with 47,500 miles. A shop burned me once by skipping that step. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. If the story changes I'll post the new data.

Thanks — that narrowed it. I'm going to try the simpler check on the 2021 Range Rover Sport first. I'll update if anything new shows up.

I parked the 2021 Range Rover Sport and wrote down what I already tested so I'm not repeating myself. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
