2022 Volvo XC90 — humming rises with road speed, not engine RPM — Miami owner

There is a low hum that rises with road speed regardless of engine RPM. Turning slightly left or right changes the sound. Is that enough to suspect a wheel bearing, or what else should I rule out?

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2022 Volvo XC90 in Miami, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “humming rises with road speed, not engine,” that was the fork that mattered for me. This is from a 2022 Volvo XC90 in Miami. Verbal 'we'll take care of it' is not a plan. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2022 Volvo XC90 before a big repair or a big spend. Then you'll know the next fork. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Not convinced that's the whole story. If it still isn't clear on the 2022 Volvo XC90, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. No need to make it theatrical. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

That's my plan before I call anyone.

If you share a photo of the worksheet, easier to sanity-check. I've seen both outcomes, which is why I'd test instead of assume. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2022 Volvo XC90 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
