2023 Audi S5 — clutch engagement changed after a long traffic commute

2023 Audi S5 Sportback, about 4,000 miles. After a hot stop-and-go commute the clutch engagement point felt different, but it returned to normal later.

Ask what changed right before it started. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2023 Audi S5 does it — then decide on parts. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Do that first. Only after sitting overnight so far.

Start with the test that can prove you wrong. Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2023 Audi S5 does it — then decide on parts. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. This is me being the wet blanket on purpose.

Yes, with one caveat: Write temp, speed, and in-gear vs coast when the 2023 Audi S5 does it — then decide on parts. That's the branch I'd chase this week. On “clutch engagement changed after a long traffic,” that was the fork that mattered for me. I'd want a dollar figure or a measured spec, not 'should be fine.' I refuse to clear codes until someone else sees them.
