2023 Ford Bronco — payload sticker changed my whole truck-shopping plan

I was focused on tow rating until I added passengers, cargo and tongue weight. Payload looks like the real constraint. How much buffer do you leave in a family towing setup? I am in Phoenix. I am trying not to assume the first explanation I see online.

I'd keep this practical. Verify the cheap/easy branch on the 2023 Ford Bronco before a big repair or a big spend. I'd do that before spending real money. Stop there until you know. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2023 Ford Bronco owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. Was this after sitting overnight? This is the version I'd tell a friend.
