2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 — light-throttle shudder around 35–45 mph

There is a rumble-strip-like shudder at steady light throttle in a narrow speed range. Harder acceleration or lifting off makes it disappear. How would you separate converter behavior from engine misfire or wheel/tire vibration?

This is usually cheaper to test than to guess. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. Had a similar mess a couple years ago and that's what finally sorted it. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.

Asking because it changes the advice: Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. You'll know quickly if you're on the wrong tree. I'd want that in writing, not as a promise. Your commute and mine probably aren't the same, but the test still applies. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

I'd want a measurement, not a hunch. Loaded-suspension checks on the 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 catch play that a wheels-hanging inspection misses. Don't erase codes until someone who can help has seen them. This is from a 2023 Mercedes-AMG C43 in Pennsylvania. If it doesn't change the out-the-door or the repair estimate, it's noise. I'd sleep better after that step, even if it finds nothing. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
