2024 Ford Mustang GT, about 11,000 miles. After owning the car for a while, tires, insurance and service pricing mattered more than the MPG difference I obsessed over before buying. What ownership costs surprised you most?

Thanks — that narrowed it. I'm going to try the simpler check on the 2024 Ford Mustang first. Might be overthinking it, but I'd rather overthink than overspend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Ford Mustang, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
