2024 Kia EV9 — are cars becoming too dependent on one screen or module?

More basic vehicle functions now route through software and central displays. I like the features, but worry about one electronics failure affecting unrelated systems. Where should physical redundancy remain? I am in Nationwide. Mileage is about 81,000.

New-model numbers always look better than curb weight and tire size. If this is a 2027 reveal, I wouldn't map it onto today's 2024 Kia EV9 ownership costs yet. That's where I'd start. This is from a 2024 Kia EV9 in Nationwide. Was this after sitting overnight? I'd rather be boring and correct. If this is nothing, great. I want that in data.

Software recalls make me ask how much of 'driving' lives in a module now. On a 2024 Kia EV9, I'd care more about the remedy and downtime than the press wording. I'd do that before spending real money. Run the total, not the monthly, before you commit. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
