Anyone else: F-150 feels loose towing a tall enclosed trailer

Weights are within ratings but crosswinds make the rig feel much less planted than expected. Before buying suspension parts, I'd like to verify loading, tongue percentage, hitch setup and tire pressures. What order would you troubleshoot?

Software recalls make me ask how much of 'driving' lives in a module now. On a 2024 Ford F-150, I'd care more about the remedy and downtime than the press wording. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2024 Ford F-150 in North Jersey. Learned this the expensive way on a previous car. I'll update if anything new shows up.

Quick add on that: Check whether your 2024 Ford F-150 VIN is actually in the affected batch before you plan a dealer day. That's where I'd start. On “f-150 feels loose towing a tall enclosed,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. I'd rather look cautious in this thread than stuck later.
