Need advice: F-150 feels loose towing a tall enclosed trailer

Weights are within ratings but crosswinds make the rig feel much less planted than expected. Before buying suspension parts, I'd like to verify loading, tongue percentage, hitch setup and tire pressures. What order would you troubleshoot? If I fix it I'll come back and update the thread.

Owner notes beat generic advice here. On the 2024 Ford F-150 in Nationwide, I'd fix the thing you'll notice every day before chasing spec-sheet extras. That's where I'd start. On “f-150 feels loose towing a tall enclosed,” that was the fork that mattered for me. Do that first. Wrote this up on my lunch break.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Ford F-150, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. I'd do that before spending real money. Parts cannon is a personality type I try to avoid. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
