Question: F-150 feels loose towing a tall enclosed trailer

Weights are within ratings but crosswinds make the rig feel much less planted than expected. Before buying suspension parts, I'd like to verify loading, tongue percentage, hitch setup and tire pressures. What order would you troubleshoot? I'd rather test this logically than start replacing parts. What am I missing?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2024 Ford F-150 owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. That's where I'd start. Post the numbers (or the code) and people can get more specific. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2024 Ford F-150, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. Happy to compare notes if your setup is different. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.
