Question: Fun daily that still works for one-car ownership

I want something I enjoy on back roads but still need to commute, carry luggage and survive bad weather. Trying to avoid buying a car that only makes sense on paper. What compromises have actually mattered after a year? I'm in Pennsylvania. Any data points from owners would help.

Treat this like a math problem, not a vibe. Call your insurer in Pennsylvania before you fall in love with the 2017 Porsche 911. I'd rather lose the car than buy a foggy deal. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. Not trying to scare you — just skip the expensive first guess. PPI guy I use is booked until next week, so I'm waiting.
