2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee — humming rises with road speed, not engine RPM

CityDaily186Community StarterJul 16, 20262017 Jeep Grand Cherokee LimitedPortland
2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, about 147,500 miles. There is a low hum that rises with road speed regardless of engine RPM. Turning slightly left or right changes the sound. Is that enough to suspect a wheel bearing, or what else should I rule out?

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. Then you'll know the next fork. Take it or leave it — that's what I'd do. A day of patience here is cheaper than a wrong part. I'm keeping receipts and dates in one folder.

Agree — and I'd add this: A second data point from another 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. I'd do that before spending real money. This is from a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee in Portland with 147,500 miles. Write the result down so the next test isn't a repeat of the last one. This is the version I'd tell a friend.
