2023 Jeep Wrangler — clunk when changing from reverse to drive

2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, about 9,500 miles. There is a single clunk when changing direction at low speed, especially reverse to drive. No vibration while cruising. What would you inspect first: mounts, driveshaft play, differential mounts or CV joints? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses. What would you check next?

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2023 Jeep Wrangler, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. That's the whole play. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
