2023 Jeep Wrangler — clunk when changing from reverse to drive

BoostDadCommunity StarterOct 31, 20252023 Jeep Wrangler RubiconSan Antonio
2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, about 9,500 miles. There is a single clunk when changing direction at low speed, especially reverse to drive. No vibration while cruising. What would you inspect first: mounts, driveshaft play, differential mounts or CV joints? Interested in real owner experience more than guesses. What would you check next?

Write down what you already tried. A second data point from another 2023 Jeep Wrangler owner helps more than a generic diagnosis. Then you'll know the next fork. Time, temperature, and whether it's in gear are the notes that actually help a shop. This is the version I'd tell a friend.

Don't overfit one forum story to your car. If it still isn't clear on the 2023 Jeep Wrangler, a specialist hour can be cheaper than another round of parts. That's where I'd start. That's the whole play. Make the next action something you can finish this week. I'm in no rush to be a hero on it.
